Our Adoption Story Part 4 Birth Day
7am...ring ring...I know what this is. I look over at my cell and its Mary's number. "Oh My God" I think. I answer and it’s Jake. He tells me that they are pretty sure Mary is in labor. The contractions are intense, 2 minutes apart and lasting for one minute! "What?" I yell inside my head. I can't believe they waited this long. "We'll be right there" Brian hears this; we fly up and out the door grabbing towels "just in case". When we pull up to the house, Jai is outside smoki

Our Adoption Journey Part 3
Jake worked all day on Friday so we didn't get to spend any time but we picked Mary up early afternoon and went to lunch at a Vietnamese place. She of course added hot sauce again and was determined to do whatever she could to get the baby out. Everything was in bloom and the day was a perfect 75 ish and breezy. W

Our Adoption Journey Part 1
****To Honor my daughter's 5th Birthday, I thought it was a good time to revisit our adoption story. Dropped the dogs in Connectic

Our Adoption Story Part 2

One was a large presentation but I didn't want to do it with poor internet connections and besides, the Dr. was more important. We picked them up at 7am. Jake looked great and was glad to see us aside from the

Everyone has a story, right? Who did what to whom and how someone isn't getting what they deserve. I will be the first one to say that there often times that I want something I don't deserve or didn't earn. This isn't one of those times, however. As I suspected, I am going to be screwed by the fire that raged through my garage on March 1st caused by a Jeep factory installed remote starter. The insurance company will not give me every dime I paid and so far, it appears I am do
Gabi & Her Jeep
Accidents Happen. We all know that. Every product has some percentage of their customers that these accidents happen to. Yesterday, I was part of the small percentage of Jeep Grand Cherokee owners that have suffered an accident cause by the failure of the car itself. I have accepted that fact. But what is important is not that the accident happened, it's more about how the car handled that failure. Watch this video and you tell me, are you satisfied with the way my truck hand
